Hong Kong 2009

Husband was there for a conference, so off we went as a family: husband, wife, CY, CH, fil and uncle JY...

At the airport with ah gong!

Little girl saying hi in her pretty hat!!! A hand-me-down from my sister!!!

CY fixing some stuff on the aircraft...

Behaving like a true blue shopper at Hong Kong!

So while hb was away at conference, we hit the malls and Ocean Park!

CH at the mall...

Aquarium at Ocean Park. The fish are really huge! They came real close and I think CY got a scare outta his life!

Ok, CY was really grouchy coz he wanted to go on the rollercoaster but mummy told him he is too short and can only go on ferris wheel. So up he went, all the while complaining 'too slow too slow'

I would never have taken the cable car ride if I had known it was near monsoon condition. They had to stop the service every half hour due to winds condition. Imagine how I felt up there.

View from the cablecar, sound howling winds not included :(

Then the family headed to Disneyland!!!lalalaal

The family!

CY being cheeky. He doesnt want to pose with daddy!!!

It's a small small world!!!

On board the Dumbo!!!

Amazing mazes!!!

Many toddlers CY's age could do simple mazes, but for the longest time, CY simply refused to do it. What makes it worse is his pencil grip. Ok, being the finnicky teacher I was, a wrong pencil grip at 2.5 years old spells a future of delinquency and criminal behaviour (and it doesnt help he holds his pencil like he is going to stab someone in the heart!) :( (yes yes Im being senseless here...)

A couple of days ago, I inserted his mazes into a Thomas the Tank Engine file. Suddenly he wanted to do them!!!!!!!!!

He started with this...

In a couple of days, he was doing this...

Now all his drawings are maze-like...

but but but...his pencil grip is still....
