CH, my little heartbreaker

My SwEet liL GIrl

CH on the other hand, is the sweetest girl ever. I am quite surprise my girl turned out so well so far :P, considering what her mummy is like! Here is CH on her walker (okok, it's not safe but she's hardly on it anyway), and here's CH sitting up at 4.5mths.

Isn't she a beauty? Even without hair, she looks like a darling girl.

Okay this one is cool. My little girl's first 'ballet moves'...the music was accidental. haha..like so many things in my life :). CH trying to crawl at 5mths. She is still crawling round in circles (futility of life, don't they start young?), and sometimes does a crab-like crawl sideways.

(Video is missing. I have been trying to upload this video for the past one week. The comment has always been 'Insufficient virtual memory'. I give up!)

She is a real darling. She smiles the sweetest, coos at even strangers. Anyone who walks pass always comments what a sweetie pie she is :) When she feels shortchanged for all the attention shown to her brother, she pouts her pretty lips and whimpers. How how sweet...

Developmentally, the siblings are similar. CH rolled over when she was 3mths 14 days, while CY rolled over 3mths, 15 days. The first slept though the night when they were about 8 weeks old. CH first crawled at around 5mths and CY around 6mths.

A Conversation & Looking back

A conversation with CY recently...We were playing with meimei CH and he saw a little bolster that belongs to him on meimei's bed. I had earlier on put it inside to prevent meimei from flipping over in her sleep.

M: That is your bolster, isn't it?
CY: *silence*
M: You want mummy to get another one for you?
CY: No need, meimei use. Chih-Yu big already.

Very heartwarming. It isn't such big deal for most 27mth old toddlers to hold such conversations, but for CY, he has come a long way. At the age of one, he was diagnosed by PD as 'failure to thrive'. His weight was low, and way off the chart (7.4kg at 13mths), and he had eating problem. The doctor warned of developmental delays.

But thank God all turned out ok. He might not be a little Einstein, but at least he is happy learning, so far :)

This is a recent interest. He is okay doing bigger ones, but it sure is hell getting him to do it in front of the camera :(

Below is another one on him doing his BOI. Some would have seen him doing the planet cards before but here is a link on him working on organs of the human body :)

He isn't a brilliant boy, but we are glad he is okay so far with no apparent long term damage to his system. So I guess we all have something to be thankful about!

Halow cyberwhirled, mummy's comed!!

Pardon the bad spelling.

Since nearly all mummies I know have a blog(s?) for their children, I thought I should likewise jump onto this bandwagon. No clearminded Singaporeans like to be left behind. So here I am, late but well, here.

The two children, CY and CH are the most blessed accidents I ever had in life. Look, I don't mince my words, accidents are accidents. CY was born on 28 October 2006 while CH came two years later on 20th September 2008.

I hope this blog will have more pictures, videos and less words. Words always spoil things. So shall we begin?
